About

Helping you find what you need

Research on the human voice is a wide-ranging, interdisciplinary effort. With research data and tools spread across many different sources, it can be difficult to find what you need.

The YorVoice Data Catalogue is intended as a single point of reference, with carefully-designed search architecture to help you quickly identify the right data and tools for your work.

Who it's for

The YorVoice Data Catalogue is designed for researchers looking for resources. As such we have made some assumptions about how it might be used. If you'd like to provide feedback or suggest a change, please submit a feedback form.

What it's not

The YorVoice Data Catalogue is not a repository. We do not host data ourselves, we signpost to data hosted elsewhere. As such we can make no guarantees about the data itself.

The Catalogue is also not intended to be a library of papers, as this task is already done well by others. We include a few papers where they are directly associated with datasets. In the future we will also include a section for community-voted "important papers" - the type that you'd recommend to a colleague to help them get to grips with the important aspects of your discipline - with the aim of aiding interdisciplinary research. If you have any suggestions for such a paper, please let us know.
